九十年代初，Wilson Phillips 挾著殿堂級樂隊The Beach Boys 及 The Mamas and Papas 的下一代之名而來，在Billboard 流行榜上打出非常好的成績，細碟Hold On 甚至把如日中天的Madonna 從No. 1 的位置拉下來，Grammy Awards 亦得到數項題名。

推出過兩張專輯之後Chynna Phillips 決定單飛，而剩下的Wilson 姊妹，在九三年推出過節日專輯Hey Santa! 之後也消聲匿跡了好一段時間。Hey Santa! 專輯入面的點題歌曲Hey Santa! 到今天仍然是每年聖誕節的熱播歌曲之一。
